What Is Alive and Pure Within You?
What is alive and pure within you?
On your born day, personalities emerge— like nieces and nephews, one and two years old, untouched by time, not yet shaken from their natural creativity, their quiet prowess, their authentic shyness.
That pristine energy calls to us.
We seek new paths to enter that state again: alive and pure as morning light.
Perhaps through nature's gateway, recognizing trees as teachers, fruit-bearers, wisdom-keepers, learning their sacred uses.
What society dismisses as weeds— hold so much medicine. Medicine surrounds us completely. The earth itself is medicine.
Yet we've been programmed to misunderstand this truth, to dismiss the essential as weeds, creating friction where harmony could grow.
There's something exquisite when we finally open ourselves to what is alive and pure.
So I ask you: What remains alive and pure within you right now? Your unique frequency, your energy signature, your journey through this particular season of your unfolding life?

Journal Prompt: Reconnecting with Your Pure Essence
In our daily lives, we often become disconnected from what is most essential and authentic within us. The concept of "what is alive and pure" invites us to explore our original nature—that unconditioned part of ourselves that existed before social programming and life experiences shaped our personalities.
Children naturally embody this pure state. Watch a one or two-year-old at play, and you'll witness their unfiltered creativity, curiosity, and authentic expression. They haven't yet learned to doubt themselves or conform to others' expectations. This natural state remains within all of us, though it may be buried beneath layers of conditioning.
Nature offers us a powerful doorway back to this pure awareness. When we truly see a tree not just as an object but as a living being with purpose and gifts, we begin to shift our perspective. Even what society labels as "weeds" contain medicine and wisdom—a metaphor for how we might reclaim the dismissed or overlooked aspects of ourselves.
Our modern programming often teaches us to live in friction with the natural world and our natural selves. We dismiss what doesn't fit into neat categories of usefulness or beauty by conventional standards. Yet in doing so, we harm both ourselves and our planet.
Today's journal invitation is simple yet profound: Take a moment to sit quietly and ask yourself, "What is alive and pure within me right now?" Notice what emerges—not from your thinking mind, but from a deeper place of knowing. Consider your current frequency, energy, and this particular season of your life journey.
What aspects of your original nature are asking to be expressed? What medicine might you offer that the world around you has dismissed as a "weed"? How might reconnecting with what is alive and pure within you bring more harmony to your relationship with yourself, others, and the earth?
